ABOUT QFYOA
Previously known as the Qld Beneteau Owners Group and founded in 2005 to promote Beneteau racing, we renamed to QFYOA (www.qfyoa.com) to encompass all French made yachts. The 2009 race had 20 entrants in total. This has steadily grown to 12 for the Beneteau Cup and 10 Jeanneau and overall, 26 the French Yacht Challenge in 2023. Over the 17 years of the regatta, it has grown to become one of the major social regattas on the Moreton Bay racing calendar. We have welcomed entries from yachts returning south from the Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island and Magnetic Island Race Weeks, and other Queensland sailing clubs. We look forward to showing visitors the excellent facilities at the RQYS marina and clubhouse.
